Hi, my name is Cassandra Serrani, I am from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and I am a professional life model and professional wrestler. You heard me correctly, a professional wrestler like the Rock, John Cena or Randy Savage.

I have been a professional wrestler for 15 years, so I know how to pose for the camera while simultaneously giving my opponent a body slam. Camera work is an integral part of professional wrestling. We have to know where the cameras are, both in video and still-photography so that the story we are trying to tell translates clearly for the viewers at home. We also perform as larger than life characters with charisma and personality abound. All to ensure that our performances, i.e. giving our opponent a big boot to the face, are easy captured by the camera and seen by all in attendance no matter where they are sitting. 

 

As an art model, I am expected to create a pose and/or story with my body and to sustain that same pose from anywhere between 30 seconds to 30 mins. It is hard physical work, but I enjoy contorting my body into interesting poses for students to help them learn and to elevate their craft in their chosen field which includes; fine art, illustration and animation. I have been modeling for 14 year at various top art colleges and universities in and around the GTA, including Sheridan and Brock University, as well as various independent art groups.
